WIPS and stuff

Today's thing I made seems to involve launching a cat up a wall. I haven't animated anything in so long. So I'll see how far I get with cleaning it up and finishing it off. I didn't reference anything, so there is a lot to do yet.

Return to life drawing!

Mareel (a music and arts venue in Shetland) hosted a life drawing class last week. It was fantastic. I hadn't done any life drawing since March last year. It was SO good to do it again. I really hope the life drawing sessions become regular up here. Its something Shetland could really benefit from. I think they had to specially hire a model to come up here do the classes, which can't have been cheap. So if they continue, they'll have to find someone more local willing to bare all, haha. 

Despite it being more than a year, I surprised myself that I wasn't more rusty. I was quite pleased with what I ended up with.

Puffin A Paddlin

Couldn't bear it any longer. My tablet pen is 2 islands away at the moment, due to me stupidly leaving it there. I've been meaning to paint something for weeks so gave in and borrowed the graphics tablet pen from work. Had to be done. Its not perfect by any means but it was fun.

Fox Character Design Development

Long time no draw. Finally some inspiration struck. 

 I'm not sure what gave me the idea to draw a fox, but for a few nights this week I've been doodling them ever since.

I was about to finish last night around 3am, when I found I'd done lineart for another head which I'd forgotten about. I didn't have the heart to delete it, so I stuck her on the side, haha. Not the best composition anymore.
